A Fae, a gargoyle, and a were-lion walked into a bar… …without a grimalkin, who had remained in the truck since most restaurants didn't allow animals. I didn't know what to expect when we entered the pub in downtown Decatur. Just as Aria had said, lovely woodworking made the bar distinctive. It resembled something out of a Georgian hallway, although obviously it couldn't have been that old. Stone walls, another check, as were the Irish signs and sayings. The place was half-full, which still meant a lot of people for that time in the morning. We couldn't see all of the seats, so we wove through small groups standing around and near the bar.
