“What are you doing here?” I wiped my cheek and smiled at my family. It was so good to see them.
“I will be right back. I need to speak with the Alpha and Luna.” My mother gave me a quick squeeze before rushing off to Alpha Arnie’s office.
“Hallie, we wanted to come and visit you. We missed you.” Veronica exclaimed, staring around in amazement until her eyes fell on Janie and Delia.
“Why is she staring at George like that?” Veronica tutted.
“Mate!”
Had I really heard them words?
Confusion swirled in my mind, a whirlwind of emotions threatening to engulf me. Had I heard correctly? Delia calling my brother her mate? The thought seemed absurd, considering my brother already had a mate and a baby on the way.
My gaze shifted to George, who stood beside Delia, a mixture of surprise
