I was ready to start off, after talking to HR that day he just looked at me as I explained everything that happened.
“How much was the cancellation fee?” He questioned me as I looked down
“Well it as 20% of the total amount” I responded and he nodded his head
“Okay, seems like it is a high amount but not to worry about it. We will come up with how we can deduct it” He said to me and I faked a smile before leaving his office.
