I had barely begun my packing when i sat on the edge of the bed thinking how lucky I was. Tears were falling from my eyes as I thought about how far I had come since finding my ex mate with that so called friend of mine.
Lochlan had made me question my worth and left me feeling undeserving of love. His harsh words and neglectful actions had eroded my self-esteem over time. But Alex, my current partner, had shown me a love so pure and profound that it had the power to heal the wounds of my past.
The tears continued to flow from my eyes, but this time they were tears of gratitude. I knew how fortunate I was to have found someone like Alex, who treated me with kindness, respect, and unconditional love. He had shown me that true love exists and that I deserved to be cherished
