"So many dry things," she said, and the last part of her sentence made me laugh as I agreed there were many things. She walked over to the piles of stuff, her eyes sparkling with wonder, as she started sifting through them while I stood there, watching her for a moment. “I thought you were lost.” She looked at me again, opened one of the cases, and went on to say that she thought I did not remember how to get here.
