I almost choke at his words.
“Well that is such a dumb question.” Laughing wryly at his question, I had almost hit his head. “Of course I haven’t, have you forgotten that I lived in the land of the witches and the warlock? They hate my kind—our kind. Also, love between two different creatures is forbidden.” I muttered nonchalantly.
Which was true, it is forbidden. It is stated in the Law of the High Council. So a lot would be hiding their relationship with other species and begging to all Gods that no one would find out and snitch to the High Council.
