Zian was confused but he waved back and smiled at Alden when he saw him at the garden. He was surprised but not as surprised when Alden picked up his pen when it fell on the floor on their first afternoon class.
Because of Tara, he was seated next to Alden. He was sitting at the far end of the column with Ethan, Tara, Jena, and Nially when Alden’s friend made him sit with them. Zain ended up in an awkward situation with his former friend. He couldn’t decide whether to glare or look away as Alden handed him his pen.
He must have looked confused or mad.
