I've seen my father set traps numerous times in our farm so I had a pretty good theory in my mind on how to trap a hare, though I've never tried one physically. For our safety's sake, Gordon and I headed deeper into the forest where the forest was thicker and impossible for soldiers to navigate with their horses. Setting the traps proved troublesome , it took me longer than an hour but we finally did it after some consecutive failures. We successfully caught three fat hares on our last try. Skinning the animals wasn't out best suite let alone roasting them. The final result of the 'food' was what I would say as horrible.
