lois pov i woke to the sound of my alarm blasting in my ear i sit up in my bed to turn it of when i realise i slept 10 minutes through the alarm “s**t” i mumble to myself as i run to my dresser and pull out my royal blue school shirt , my royal blue plaid pleated skirt and lastly my royal blue knee high socks some underwear and a bra. i rush them all on n start to turn on my straighteners to look like i made an effort for school i chuck some mascara on and grab my clear lipgloss for the last touch chuck it in my school bag put on my black and white platform converse and head downstairs for a breakfast bar as i grab it i hear my best friend Mya beeping her car outside making me aware we are about to be late as soon as i go to head out the front door i walk straight into a brick like wall i look up as rocco the future alpha of our pack and my brothers best friend is stood laughing at me i get up and just when he decides to move out my way he lets out a peice of mind “maybe if you grew id be able to see u lo” i shoot him a glare and reply “its lois to you” and walk to myas car we arrive at school around 5 minutes later giving us just enough time to get into the building and to our lockers before the bell. me and mya have all the same classed so we head up to out english class talking about some last minute shopping before Saturday, just so happened that my 18th birthday was in 3 days only downside was i share it with 2 douches one whom i love very much and will forever back him no matter how much of an asshole he is Leonardo my twin brother and future beta of our pack & the other whom i wish i never knew my the person i have hated for almost 3 years , the future alpha Rocco. the upside was id most likely find my mate is from another pack and never have to see one of two people ever again gia conte the only reason i despise Rocco and Rocco the reason being ever since we were 15 and he hit puberty we lost our friendship downside of finding my mate in a different pack no more mya… Rocco’s pov i arrive at my first class of the day english all i can hear are whispers of girls who think the know they’re my mate. the only person who i dont see or here whispering is Lois , we used to be best friends her me mya and leonardo untill i made the biggest mistake of my existence. i slept with gia at the age of 15 for the first time the only reason being is she had convinced me lois would never look at me the way i would look at her lois blew up on me that day n since shes never tried to be civil in the slightest to me unless our parents were around she looks at me with a glare and then turns to face the teacher at the front of the class suddenly the is a announcement being spoken on the speakers throughout the school “all students must return to the pack house straight after school” i roll my eyes and mind link my father the current alpha of our pack “whats the need for us to return home after school” he links me back saying “theres been a rogue attack lois and leonardos mother is .. d-dead” i look at lois as she looks to be in immense amount of pain as i stand up and run into the hallway to go to my best friend leo’s class lois pov i suddenly felt this large amount of pain like someone had killed me but i was still alive when i saw rocco running out the room i assumed i wasnt the only person who felt this i attempted to mind link my mum but it didnt seem to work so i mindlinked my dad to ask why moms mind link wasnt working n he replied with “she’s gone lo” i ran out my class and into the girls bathroom i couldn’t believe what i was hearing was hearing suddenly mya comes bursting through the door as if on cue coz as soon as i am wrapped in her arms i instantly start sobbing..
