CHAPTER 11

CHAPTER 11: Melody Resort

I wear a black shorts above the knee and I paired it with white t-shirt, so that they can recognize me as worker not a guest. Because it makes me uncomfortable if someone is trying to approach me.

Maybe I just going to laugh if one of the worker there is going to welcome, approach me or accompany me somewhere again.

I went there before and I don’t want to go back again. It’s really funny when I got there, they really have such a good stuff. And they are all friendly, if I have a chance to make my self relax and have bonding with my own self I rather to choose the Melody Resort.

Lady Mert is an in charge to check all the places, she is also in charge with the workers and the job to do.

She is also a approachable person but she is too strict.

As I go out in my room and try to find Aunt and there I saw her, sitting in a old chair with a coffee on his right hand and an newspaper in her left hand. Maybe I can suggest her to sit in a new chair because it’s look how many minutes the chair will going to break down. She is a fat woman too.

“G-good morning!” I greeted her but she didn’t hear it.

I think it’s too early to lost her senses or maybe she’s too much putting attention and concentrating to what she is reading.

“Hi, Meredith! Good morning!” I said again with a loud voice. And that’s a big mistake I have done this day.

“W-what the-”

“I’m s-so sorry, I didn’t mean it…”

“You really such a…Get the hell out of here!” she angrily shouted at me.

And I found myself now running because she is chasing me. No, just kidding! She never had chance to chase me again except that she is so fat, the reason is she can’t and the whole people will going to be messy like the dishes because it’s so scary if you see her running and chasing you with a so loud voice.

I miss the moment again when it happened, even I just the one who need to run, I found all of them are running to. The two chefs, Lilly and even the other occupants here is hiding.

I was now here in downstairs when I saw Lilly. Is she waiting for me?

“What’s wrong? Why Aunt is shouting?” she asked.

“Uhm..I was only greeted her and the worst her coffee had spilled in her chest…”

“Then, what makes her spilled her coffee in her own?” she asked with amazed.

“I t-think I makes her surprised or shock…”

“Oh! I see, but it’s good that she didn’t chase you.”

“Yah, because I hurriedly left her.”

“Okay, but where are you going? Your too early, truancy?”

“No! I wasn’t like you, who skipping always in a class and go out somewhere..with your own self..”

“Stop! Okay, then where are you going?” she ask again with irritated voice.

“Melody Resort, you want to accompany me? Come on, let’s go..”

“No! I hate all of them there, especially that Lady Mert they’re calling!” she said. “And..were not friends, why I’m going to accompany you?

She roll her eyes and walk out. I sighed and took a deep breath. I don’t want to go there but I can’t do, that’s Aunt Meredith asking for favor.

I should move faster, so that I can go back here early and finish my school works. Sunday is our rest day.

I can see from here the small three boxes in a dining table. What’s with that small boxes?

As I went near to it and try to hold with my both hand, Lily stop me.

“Are you going to Melody Resort with that outfit?” she asked with her eyebrow arose.

“W-what’s wrong?”

“Change your clothes, now! That Lady Mert will surely command you without end..”

“Nah! It’s okay than approaching with her stuff..”

“Are you losing your mind? Your not on the job with her..” she explained. “Change your clothes!”

Maybe I can be so happy today in what she’s acting, look like she really care for me be she just hating that Lady Mert. Because if she is there, Lad Mert always scolding her and full of commanding like she’s one of the workers.

I think the reason of that is because we’re with Aunt Meredith.

I stared Lily and didn’t move. I see deep sigh and she roll her eyes.

“F-fine if that’s what you want, then go!” she shouted at throw the three boxes on me.

Hay! She is really a brat girl. I have a plan after I’m going to give this to Lady Mert if she will going to ask favor, I’m will not follow her and I’m going to escape then I can go home early.

I carry the boxes and ride on my bicycle. There’s a lot of people here outside even so early in the morning. I look at my watch at it’s already 6:30.

I forgot my cap. As I passing this crowded people here in a roadside, I feel the bright sun.

There’s a lot of people here because it is in a crossing road where you can go to the four resort.

And now I can see the gate which written on it – Melody Resort. But it makes me want to go home because I saw the two guards. I stop and park my bicycle.

“Ahm..Good morning, is the Lady Mert…” I didn’t finish what I’m going to say because this two guards are greeting the four women.

They didn’t notice me and I get inside. It’s cool here.

“Wow!” I gasped on surprised. They have a tree house here, a little house in a mango tree that suit for five people.
