CHAPTER 10 “Would you like me to drive you home?” Ricky stared at the ground and shifted his weight from one foot to the other while he mumbled his offer. Gloria glanced at her daughter who was wiping graham cracker crumbs off the tables. “That’s all right. I’ll just ride home with Mom and see you tomorrow.” Ricky couldn’t seem to decide if he wanted to stand on his left foot, his right foot, or both at the same time. “Oh.
