Chapter 7 Little Lock became sick that summer with a high fever, aches and pains, and a heavy cough. Carla and I didn’t know what it was and rushed him to his pediatrician. To our horror, we found out that pneumonia settled into Lock’s tiny lungs and he was miserable.
