Chapter 8

1638 Words
Mr. and Mrs. Walkers walked along the flat path to the limousine parked on the side of the road. Everything should go on normally, but it is not normal in Albert's mind. He was suspicious, uncomfortable and curious. Many feelings are mixed together, and he can't help but ask. "Dad, what happened to Jamie?" Ma revised to open the car and immediately turned to look at his son. "This is not what you need to know.". The same answer fell out of his father's mouth again, but this time Albert did not flinch easily. Today, he must know what his friend was ill and suddenly put his hand into his trouser pocket. Take out the pills Jeremy dropped this morning. "This morning, Professor Courtney brought Omega to his class. Before his speech began, he gave us an Omega anti-pheromone drug. Only Jamie didn't take it, but he didn't have any symptoms. What does that mean?" Matthew paused again, thinking that one day Albert would notice this anomaly. He first looked left and right, then nodded to his son to get on the bus quickly. "Does anyone else know besides you?" Albert shook his head to Matthew's relief. "Is he ill?" I thought he would speak, and then repeated it again. Matthew glanced at it and said "All the conversations were secret and nobody knew, you know? Not even Jeremy himself could tell me." For some reason, Albert nodded his head, but Matthew said no more, as if wondering if he should, and at last it was his son who asked. "Well, what's the matter with you?" "Genetic defect" The listener suddenly made an expression of incomprehension. "I mean, it stops Jamie from responding to the Omega pheromone," "Something like that." "How is it?" "That's enough." Seeing Albert's eagerness to ask, he hurried to brake, and the son frowned even more curiously than before, but seeing his father's expression, he knew it was useless to ask. He kept his mouth shut until Matthew started the car and drove away. Genetic defects. . . A struggle against instinct. . . Is there a connection? Albert's mind kept thinking, wondering what more details were, and why his father and Jerome had done so much. If there is such a big thing, why don't you tell Jeremy about your illness? No answer, no reason, but anyway, at least Albert knows why his friend didn't respond to Omega pheromones. This is a poor alpha. . . In fact, Jeremy is tired of his daily life. Get up in the morning, go to the lecture of the institute, and then go home, which is the cycle almost every day. The most boring thing is to give yourself injections sooner or later. Many times, he tried to avoid it by pretending to forget, but was always warned by his mother to make it unavoidable. Except for today, my mother had an errand to leave home early, while my father had a meeting with a senior member of parliament, which made him ignore the syringe prepared by my mother for him, and then dressed and left home. He soon went to the institute and didn't even hear his domestic servant calling out that he hadn't had an injection yet. After injection for a lifetime, you won't die for a day. This damn disease! Jeremy didn't care what the servants could do except report the two masters who were not at home. Today, he wants to get to the college as soon as possible to start the first class of the day. Why is he so keen on taking such classes? His favorite subject today. . . Martial arts. "You're too early." As the instructor of Alpha Force was explaining today's lesson, a faint greeting sounded, asking Jeremy to look away from the instructor of Giant and stare at his friend. Ego "It's my favorite subject," he whispered. Albert won't doubt it. I know how much Jeremy likes the subject of physical skills. Today's topic is empty-handed fighting. He saw Jeremy swapping his uniform for tracksuit and waiting in the gym, as I occasionally see. The special thing about this class is that the coach will draw lots for the opponent, which is why Jeremy came so early. His eyes were fixed on the tall man of another young man standing opposite, and he smiled. "I have a good time in front of so many people. I often have such opportunities. I have to be positive wherever I go." Albert glanced at it, saw that Jeremy's eyes were on Theo, and hurried forward to dissuade him. "Give up that idea. Was yesterday not enough?" "How can you get there after a few steps? It must be big," said he, with a sly smile, and his eyes sparkled as if a child had been given his favourite toy. Theo realized that he was being targeted and looked at it. When he saw who it was, his face suddenly became furious and he was still upset about being humiliated by Jeremy yesterday. He pointed his finger at each other, his index finger back in his crotch, then switched over, raised his middle finger in the air and licked his tongue slightly, a symbolic insult that left Theo flushed with anger. If the people behind him don't dissuade him, he will approach him. Suddenly, chaos happened. Theo began to shout and shout at the cause, but Jeremy pretended that nothing had happened. Now Albert thought that the bully should be Jeremy. No, Theo must keep his eyes on the coach first, when the voice rings. "What the f**k are you doing!" Theo paused, shook out of his grip, pointed to the culprit, and cried out. "He's looking for me." The trainer looked at it with his fingertips, and he saw a villain in the academy, who stood there with a sense of shamelessness on his face. "What else are you in trouble with, Mr. Mersey?" You don't have to ask to determine whether the accused person is the real culprit. As long as he knows it's Jeremy, he will be sure. So, what is this name? Jeremy was nervous, too. "I just showed him that." Then, he did the same thing for the coach, which made Albert almost unable to stop. "That's rude, Jamie." Without stopping each other from laughing so happily, the atmosphere in the gym suddenly faded and the coach was unhappy. But I don't want to do too many things. I think it's a waste of time to teach this student. "If you want to fight, it's better to put it in practice than to put it in someone else's corner." Only Jeremy didn't move, and Theo had been dragged into the corner by his friends. If he kept hitting him in the face, he seemed to want to hit him in the face, and people couldn't help talking. "Relax, Mr. Harrison, you will soon be trampled to death by me." "Don't call me that!" Theo growled and raised Jeremy's eyebrows, pretending to be silly. "I don't like it if I give you some honor. Then call you Veddy, or you bastard, or something? Do you want to give me something? I want to give you something that conforms to your behavior yesterday." "You! Jeremy!" Theo pretended to do it again, completely forgetting that he could not fight Jeremy, but he was enraged, forgetting that chaos again, and Jeremy pretended to fight him, too, and could hardly fight anyone. This situation upset the trainer, whose endurance has reached its limit. "You stop biting! If you want to bite, put on your gloves and go on stage!" Jeremy asked the coach happily. "Where are you?" Annoying! The trainer gritted his teeth, and Albert, seeing his bad attitude, made haste to speak to his friend. "That's enough, Jamie. It's still early. Why start all over again?" "I'm in a hurry", don't disturb outsiders, even my friends are no exception. I want to say that the coach didn't make the situation worse. He died until his skull ached. Jeremy is his proud student. But the extremes of the other party also made him unbearable. "Don't rush to use force, but I'm sorry I made a mistake. You won't attack each other today, you can go back to where you are, Mr. Harrison, and calm down," he said, driving Theo away. Jeremy is delighted he can be with Theo, while Albert is relieved that if the coach lets them be together, he can't think how badly he will be beaten. Then the coach drew everyone's attention by explaining today's practice. "I won't allow you to attack each other today, because it is different from the actual situation. If fighting skills are needed, I brought my opponent from outside today." The school atmosphere is back to normal, and the gym is full of interesting things. Since the beginning of this class, second-year alpha students have never fought their peers again. Today's lesson is very interesting, but when your teacher continues to talk, he is a little disappointed. "But I have to say that maybe not everyone is experimenting with him, and it is impossible for him to support people who have more than one hundred of you. Let me pick a representative from among you, demonstrate it, and then practice in pairs." Then look around. Call someone's name. "Your representative, you". Jeremy stepped forward, slanting his neck and raising a vicious smile. There was a slight booing, but no one said anything, because he knew Jeremy was the only one with high fighting skills. He is the first in the class. If you want to describe him, you might say he is a fool, but he is very good at using force. This insult is the definition of the problem. . .
