HER FIRST LOVE

Kevin’s P.O.V.

I didn’t know why I felt that my heart sank into the pit of my stomach when I saw Betty laughing with Maya completely ignoring my presence. I heard them talking about a boy that made me angry. Betty was laughing and blushing so hard and that she-wolf, Maya, was teasing her and laughing with her. Maya was not from our pack but she was a warrior of her pack. It was our luck that she was Nash’s mate but didn’t want to recognize him as her mate. She never let him come near to me that was destroying Nash from inside but he never showed to us. As his alpha and his best friend, I knew what he was dealing with.

I was with Grace right now. She was gorgeous and sexy like hell but she was not near to Betty in any sense. We were going towards a secluded area on the other side of the main building when I found Betty with Maya. They were laughing aloud and in between their laugh, Betty mentioned a boy that I heard, thanks to my wolf hearing. Neo also stirred inside me in anger. How can she think about any other boy than me?

“This is all your fault, Kevin. You are roaming around her with a new girl almost every week and expect loyalty from her. What an as****e you are”, Neo got mad at me and was pacing furiously in the back of my mind giving me a headache. “You know very well, mutt, why I am doing this? It’s for her safety so that no one can guess that she is my mate. You do know that I never f**k any girl”, I yelled at him and he snorted before retreating deep inside my mind.

“Hey, Kevin… are you alright?” I heard Grace’s voice and looked down at her. She was almost a foot shorter than me. “Yeah… I am alright, baby”, I passed my charming smile to her. She was so clingy and the way she was biting her lips sensually, I knew what she wanted but I was not going to give her what she wanted. This was not me. Everyone thought that I f**ked almost every girl that was seen with me but it was not true. I made out with them only for show but never give them any chance to be in my pants.

Grace was also a human and right now, I could smell her arousal that was making me nauseating. She grabbed my collar and was about to kiss me on my lips when I stopped her. “Grace… wait… hold yourself, girl… you are going too fast”, I made an annoying face to show that I was not pleased with her. She immediately left my collar and looked at me dumbfounded. “Kevin… I.. I thought you want me”, she said in a sad tone and I rolled my eyes.

“You are hot and sexy, Grace …. But… it’s not like we are going to start a relationship”, I pulled her closer to me and my hand roam at her back and settled on her ass. I squeezed her ass making her whimper while she held my shirt to maintain her balance. “I can give you what you want, Grace… but for me that will be a one-time thing… are you ready for this, huh?” I asked her huskily while trailing my kisses towards her neck. She moaned in pleasure and I felt bile rising in my stomach.

“Why can’t I be your girlfriend, Kevin?” she asked me in a seductive voice while rubbing her hand on my chest. “Because… I don’t want a w***e as my girlfriend, Grace”, I said and she pushed me away from her. It was not like she was strong but I stumbled back on my own only to show that her push made me stumble. “What are you talking about?” she yelled and I rolled my eyes again. “O come on, Grace… as if you don’t know what I mean. I know very well about your s****l life and I have no shame of telling the name of all the boys with whom you slept with in the past six months”, I smirked and she went pale.

I leaned over her and whispered into her ear again, “Listen to me sweetheart and listen to me carefully. I can make out with you any time and I can give you the best o****m of your life but I will never f**k, not even in your dreams, babe. I dare you to tell anyone what happened here because whenever the words will leave your lips, you will be a hot topic of the discussion around here”. I straightened my back and smirk. She was pale and I could see the fear in her eyes. “So, stay beside me for today as you are before with me. Let everyone think that we did all those naughty things here and then don’t ever show me your face again from tomorrow”, I threatened her while stroking her face gently.

“Am I clear?” I used the coldest tone of mine that scared her like hell and she immediately nodded. “That’s like a good girl”, I patted her cheek wickedly and then grabbed her from her waist making her gasp in shock. “Now be a good girl and change your expressions”, I looked at her coldly and she gulped hard. The break was over now and I knew that I had the next class with Betty. I desperately wanted to see her. So, I started walking towards the classroom after composing myself. To my surprise, Grace once again had the same smile that she had before.

I went straight to the class and found Betty sitting with Maya at their usual place. I changed my place and sat down three seats away from them so that I could hear what they were talking about. Betty was looking happy and the sparks in her eyes were making me feel uneasy. Those sparks were only for me always. Then what happened this time that she had these sparks in her eyes. They were still giggling and laughing lightly not to gain the attention of the other students. Nash was also looking at me with concerned eyes right now but I ignored him.

“I am thinking to buy a collar for him”, I heard her that made me confused. Maya laughed lightly and said, “You want to put a collar on your love, huh?” I could feel the teasing tone of her voice but her last words made my blood boil in anger. Grace was sitting so close to me as she was sitting with me before the break. I had no intention to think about her right now.

“Hey, Betty… assume how will you feel if your wish come true and your first love turns into a boy”, Maya asked her in a very low voice but thanks to my alpha wolf hearing, I heard her clearly and the pain in my chest made me clutch my chest. “Kevin… are… are you alright?” suddenly Grace asked me with a concerned voice and I lowered my head. I felt betrayed by Betty and I knew what caused this pain. Maya asked her about her first love. I was her love and her mate and I knew that she always loved me then how on earth she loved someone else than me.

“Kevin… what happened?” Nash came closer to me and that was when I realized that I was gasping for air due to the pain. “Uhhh… it’s nothing”, I looked back at Betty over my shoulder and saw her looking at me with worry in her eyes. Now, she was worried about me, huh? I scoffed internally and Nash pulled me from my arm. “Let me take you out, Kevin”, he suddenly dragged me out of the class and Vincent follow us. “Nash”, I called him but he didn’t stop. “Hide your hands now”, Nash snarled at me and I looked at my hands. My eyes widened in shock when I saw nails coming out of my hand. “s**t”, I cursed and took a deep breath. Now we were in the ground. Nash left my hand and I dropped on the ground while gasping for air.

“What are you doing, Neo?” I yelled at my wolf who was now howling in anger inside my mind. “You heard her”, he growled and I sighed internally. “We are in the middle of school. Calm yourself down, Neo. I will ask her once we reach home”, I tried to comfort him and he whimpered in pain. “Are you okay now?” Nash asked me while giving me a bottle of water. I nodded and took the bottle. I chugged the whole bottle and took a deep breath after gulping down the last drop.

“Betty… she loves someone else”, I said in a broken voice and Nash yelled in disbelief. “O, you mean wolfie… he is a dog, Kevin”, I snapped my head towards Vincent who was looking at me carelessly. My gaze immediately made him alert. “What’s wrong? I … heard them”, he looked between me and Nash. “Wolfie?” Nash took the name in confusion and that was when it struck me and I laughed aloud. I laughed at my own stupidity. I fell down on my butt on the ground while laughing like a maniac.

“Kevin… are you okay?” I heard Vincent’s scared but concerned voice and I shook my head. “Yeah… yeah.. I am fine… I am very much fine… but a bit disappointed that she called him her first love”, I was still laughing but I felt that someone had removed the weight from my chest. “O My Goddess”, Nash exclaimed this time and I laughed while looking at him and he laughed with me. “This is not fair guys… tell me why you two are laughing?” Vincent complained and we both looked at him. I stood up and dusted my pants. “Vincent… come on.. what name she take?” I looked at him questioningly and he shrank his nose in confusion. “She said Wolfie and he”, he stopped and his eyes widened. “O My Goddess”, he yelled and put his hands on his mouth.

“She really scared me”, I said after our laughter died and Nash shook his head in agreement. “Maya told me that Betty can smell him”, Nash whispered and I snapped my head towards him and narrowed my eyes. “She is human still she got a faint smell on him. Her birthday is in two months”, Nash informed me and I chewed my inner cheeks of mine.
