Jade's POV
I kept looking at my fisted hands in my lap intending to avoid his gaze. However, he walked to the car and placed his hands on the rim of my window and leaned forward to talk to Luke who was in the driver's seat and I next to him.
"Take care of everyone, buddy. Even the over-confident ones should not be hurt." He said. He calls doctor Luke his buddy.
Instantly my head flew up and I scowled. His mocking eyes bore into mine and a rush of exasperation erected my spine.
"Rest assured, I will return with everyone unharmed." Luke said and ignited the engine.
The alpha stepped aside and our vehicle commenced its ride. I noticed The Alpha waving through the rear view and looked out of the window totally fed up already.
