DESTINED BY FATE

CHAPTER 5

She helped us to the school nurse where my wounds were being treated. I was greatfull to her ' cause if not for her I would have been in a worst state then I am presently.

" That should feel better after a while, just have a little rest and you'll be as good as new " the school nurse said.

 I muttered a "Thank you" back to her which she returned with a smile and left, doing something on her phone.

" How about I help you to the car? " kyla suggested standing up at the same moment .

" uhm...its fine,  Liam's here so you should just go to class instead its last period already "  I told her, and yeah we spent almost the whole day at the nurses office.

 " OK fine try to rest like the nurse suggested and you'll be fine " she said while she exists the office.

Liam and I were at our  parking space when Liam finally spoke up 

" So you were just saved by a girl huh...I bet you feel good right, your knight in shinning armor or should I say your knight with BREAST plates " emphasising on the word BREAST.

I looked at him with a straight, blank face 'cause I didn't seem to get his joke 'cause he was the only one laughing at his own joke 

****sorry I'm really bad at jokes too*****

" Just get me the fudge home bro " I was too tired to even think about what his stupid joke meant.

TIME SKIP 

 So we finally got to my house a ' Lil bit late because someone had to stop to get ice cream like who the fudge does that

 **if looks could kill I'd be in jail for that lol **

Liam went back to get his own car cause he brought us in my own car and I suggested that I should give him a ride to school so he'll get his own car and  we'll just leave together, but he was against it 'cause according to him 

' what was the point of bringing you home if you're just gonna go back to school and drive all the way back yourself, that's just stupid' which was a reasonable answer.

 I entered the house using the front door and u was greeted by a bone crushing hug from my mom.

" Mom...arms, bones, hurting, ribs " was all I could say due to the impact of the hug

" Oh sorry sunshine, I got a call from Maddy saying you got hurt in school "

*And of you're wondering who Maddy is well she's my moms best friend and also our schools nurse*

" Yeah... I tripped and fell " I lied not looking at her in the eyes 'cause she would probably know I was lying because I was a terrible lier.

" OK love, just go upstairs, freshen up and be down for dinner " mom said 

After a couple of minutes I was back downstairs and our dinning table was filled with different dishes and I for one knew that something was up.

" Mom whats with the food, are you sure these ain't to much just for s single night dinner " I asked her while smiling a little.

" Well Mr smarty pants your father called not quite long that I should make a special meal for the family that he had good news, I was also surprised too but here we are now " mom  answered back. Well guess we'll have to wait then.

Right on que we both snapped our heads to the door when we heard someone walk in but sighed when we saw it was dad. He was already in the house and was hanging his coat and umbrella

" I see you're both is here. Honey would please go get little cherry down as well, I have big news for everyone " dad said coming to the dinning table.

" Hey dad, so what's the big news " I asked while I was sitting down already.

" Have a little patience and being a curious cat " he said while giving his signature goofy smile.

Mom was down with a giggling Charlotte in her arms and the table was complete, we prayed and eat our food. We were half way done when dad spoke up

" I got the promotion " dad said while he was smiling from ear to ear. I almost chocked on the water I was drinking

" Really dad, wow congrats " I replied after I settled down. 

I looked at my mom who was on full flown tears, she was hugging dad so tight as if her life depended on it.

 " I am so proud of you love, and congrats " moms said between sobs.

" Thanks you both, but I have something else to say. We'll be moving to to a new neighborhood 'cause it comes with the promotion and yes you be going to school tomorrow Charles while I and your mother pack " dad said with a straight face but his eyes showed worry.

 " Well since I don't have a say in this I'll be in my room. Goodnight mom" I said kissing both my mom and Charlotte in there heads.

I was in my room already and immediately I shut the doors letting out a frustrated breath I didn't know I was holding. I lazily changed out my cloth and I was in my shorts and a top. I immediately searched for my phone and seeing it saw a text from  Liam

BESTBUD;

How are you feeling my guy

CHARLES;

Am good man, big news tomorrow

BESTBUD;

Wassup?what happened?

CHARLES;

let's just say I'll be moving to a new neighborhood.

And with that I closed my phone and kept it somewhere

" I guess he's happy and mom is happy too, *sigh* I'll just be happy for him too then " I thought in my head.

I heard a knock on the door but didn't respond cause I was already drawn into the darkness that had consumed my eyes.
