Chapter Twenty-Five

Tori’s heart was racing. Gemma had called her on the way back from their long weekend in Wales! Tori had been daydreaming of Gemma all weekend. Then on Monday and Tuesday in the office she’d found herself comparing other girls she saw to Gemma. There was a blonde receptionist whose hair was cut in a similar way; but the comparison ended there.
Gemma had missed Tori too! So much so that she wanted to see her tonight. Tori was still in the office in Central London. If she hopped on the 2.45 train she could be back early enough to have a long soak, shave her legs, and make a real effort with her clothes and makeup. Should she wear the sexy new dress she’d bought on Saturday? She’d meant it for a more formal date – but screw it! Apart
