Greg was almost finished with Gemma’s car. He loaned her his BMW to go shopping, and he’d paid for a spa treatment in the new gym that had opened a few miles away. She would go there straight from the shops and it gave him more time to finish up here.
He’d spent over four hours on the car so far.
First he’d stripped the old roof liner and fitted the new one he’d bought at the shop. The man had sold him a range of products to bring the seats and interior panels back to life. There was a new sleeve for the parking brake; a sexy new stainless steel gear knob; and a smart leather cover for the steering wheel. He also replaced the interior door handles, which were worn and rattled.
