I began to carefully pack away my new things as Ares sat at the little table at the other end of the room. He seemed to be completely lost in thought and there was a comfortable silence between us that was broken only when I got to the bottom of the pile of things and found two little leather tomes. I picked one of the books up and opened it. The cover was a dark brown leather, and at first it looked like the books I had seen in the past. It was the inside of it that made it special. It was a curious thing, and the letters on the page were so strangely uniform that they looked unreal. I had never seen writing like the type this had in it before.
