The situation was suddenly significantly less amusing to me when Ares said that he hadn’t been in love before.
I hadn’t really thought about that, and we were really still getting to know each other so I hadn’t spoken to him about the relationships he had been in before we met, but I suppose I had assumed that someone like him had been in love before and it was jarring to find out that wasn’t the case.
