Chapter 6Elijah wakes up to the sound of his cell phone ringing, warmth all down his left side. He opens his eyes and sees Chogan’s tanned arm resting over his middle. He quickly notices that Jayden isn’t there when he makes a grab for the phone.
He feels a little sick as he answers the call. Has Jayden taken off? Has he changed his mind about last night? Everything had seemed to go so well. He’d told Jayden how he felt, and he hadn’t been rejected. They’d slept together. He knows what Jayden feels like now. What will he do if he can never have that again?
