Chapter 4Chogan walks out of the room behind Jayden. He can’t keep himself from checking out Jayden’s ass. But by the time he’s followed Jayden to his car, he’s noticed more than Jayden’s ass. Chogan can see the tense line of his back, and knows that Jayden’s still mad at him.
Maybe it wasn’t fair, trapping Jayden into going back out with him, knowing as he does that Jayden isn’t happy with him. But Chogan wants the chance to talk to him again. Chogan knows he screwed up, though he doesn’t know how to fix it.
He likes Jayden. Usually when he’s this confused, he’d talk to Elijah, but he can’t go to Eli with this. How would he even put it? I’m kind of in love with you, but I seem to have a thing for the man I think you’re in love with?
