Woman Receives Robotic Limbs
System Claria, Zone Ninety: A local woman celebrated this week a transfer of robotic limbs by NULimb, a company of Baron Industries.
Sherry Cameron, 105, received the robotic arms and legs after doctors believed she would not regain control of her limbs. Receiving robotic arms and legs is not new, but experts say this technology perfectly utilizes the signals from the brain.
“Receiving these NULimbs is like a miracle,” said NULimb spokesman Jon Archer. “The limbs will be stronger than anything Ms. Cameron has experienced before. It is literally like a new body.”
Cameron finished diagnostics today and will be leaving the hospital tomorrow.
