I could feel my body tense as I awoke to the hardwood floor beneath me. The blanket that kept me warm throughout the night had been also keeping me modest as I awoke to the sunlight just emerging through the blinds. As I pulled myself upright, I passed the bathroom in the hallway to notice Luke hovering over the bathroom sink. He didn't appear sick, but distracted as his lips were moving but only silence remained in front of him.
