Chapter 10 There is no doubt about it, I’ve woken up in the middle of the woods on a bed of wild flowers. It’s early morning by the position of the bright hot sun and it’s raining despite having a clear cloudless sky. With shaking legs, I manage to stand up using a tree to push myself up. The roots from the tree makes me slip a couple of times.  My fever is gone and my head feels clear. I’m barefoot and still very much confused why I’m wearing a dress that I clearly didn’t own.  I lean on the tree behind me and try to gather my thoughts while getting out of the pouring rain. I’ve been here before. I look up at the tree’s branches and I’m stuck by a feeling of nostalgia. I’ve climbed those branches. I know I have.  I turn and take several wobbly steps back.
