Jamie and Chris are mingling in the reception hall together and Jamie can’t believe they have done it, they stood up in front of their families, their friends, and declared their love for each other. They promised to love each other for as long as they both lived and it had been scary, nerve inducing, but so worth it to be here now, surrounded by people but with his hand in Chris’, holding his husband’s hand for the first time.
“Big brothers,” Cassy says, coming over and sounding delighted.
