Alpha Knox POV I was busy in meetings all day but was struggling to focus. My mind was preoccupied with images of my beautiful, red-headed mate. My wolf and I were missing her and I couldn’t wait for the day to be over. I had a candlelight dinner planned for us in the garden and was hoping to make progress with her. I know Tatiana is more wolf than human, but I’m hoping by wining and dining her, I could bring Chloe forward. I know she’s in there and I’ve seen her eyes change more frequently lately. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard my father speak. “Knox, are you even listening?” He asked, sounding irritated. “Of course, we’ll be hosting the Alpha meeting in a week,” I replied, hoping that I had picked up enough of the conversation to make it sound like I was listening.
