Chloe
I slowly made my way to the Alpha's office, dreading what was to come. It was never a good thing when he wanted to see me. He would either use me as his personal punching bag or try to grope me. Neither was enjoyable, but I would pick the first option if given a choice.
I reached his office door and hesitated before knocking.
"Come in," he announced.
I took a deep breath before opening the door and taking a hesitant step into the room.
Alpha Cameron sat behind his desk and looked up from his computer. When his eyes met mine, something dark flashed across them.
I swallowed the knot in my throat and bowed my head in submission.
"What can I do for you, Alpha?" I asked in a low, shaky voice.
He didn't answer right away. Instead, he stood from his chair and stalked toward me like a predator would its prey. I glanced up to look at his face and immediately regretted it. He had a hungry look in his eyes, and I immediately knew I was in trouble.
Once, he stood directly in front of me. He grabbed my arms and roughly pulled me further into the room before closing the door and locking it.
Panic rushed through me because I knew this wouldn't end well.
Alpha Cameron grabbed my throat and roughly pushed me up against the wall. I could barely breathe. My hands immediately reached up to grab his hand, but I couldn't remove it, no matter how hard I tried.
"It's your birthday in a couple of days. Are you excited to meet your mate?" he asked, his tone mocking.
A chill ran down my spine. Why did he care about my birthday or my mate?
I didn't bother answering him. What was the use? He would beat me either way. Plus, I could still barely breathe with his hand wrapped around my throat.
"You're not going to answer your Alpha?" he asked in an overly calm voice.
"No, Alpha. I don't want a mate." I croaked while still trying to breathe. I had lied to him. He didn't need to know that I secretly hoped for a mate to save me from this daily torment.
Alpha Cameron laughed darkly after hearing my words.
"Good, because you don't deserve one. You're weak and wolfless. No one will ever want you. You're nothing but a w***e," he spat, venom lacing his words.
I never understood why he despised me so much. It was as if my existence triggered him.
"Now, be a good little w***e and suck my c**k," he growled, forcing me to my knees before him.
Unadulterated panic coursed through my veins because I wasn't sure I could escape this mess this time.
Tatiana was going feral in my mind, seconds away from taking control and forcing us to shift.
Alpha Cameron undid his pants and lowered them with his boxers, revealing his already erect c**k. He grabbed a handful of my hair and started pushing my face toward it.
I pushed against his thighs, but he was stronger than I was. My mouth was only inches from his glistening tip.
"No!" I screamed while struggling to break free.
I accidentally slapped his d**k with my hand while struggling, making him hiss in pain.
Before I could get up and run, an open hand slammed into my cheek, causing my ears to ring and my vision to blur.
He tried to force his c**k into my mouth again, but I kept it shut and used one of my hands to cover it. I didn't care what the consequences were. I wouldn't let him do this to me, not now, not ever. He had already taken everything else from me and my mother, and this was where I drew the line.
"I'll bite it off if you put it anywhere near my mouth," I growled.
"You b***h!" He sneered, eyes wild and nostrils pumping.
He pulled away and kicked me in the stomach. I fell backward onto the floor with my arms wrapped around my abdomen. He had knocked the wind out of my lungs, and I couldn't breathe.
He kept kicking me relentlessly. All I could do was curl up into a ball and cover my face to try and protect myself.
I felt like I was on the verge of blacking out when suddenly, he grabbed a handful of my hair and dragged me toward the door. I yelped. The pain was excruciating.
Alpha Cameron dragged me down the hall. It felt like the hairs on my head were being ripped out.
At some point, I must have blacked out because the next time my eyes opened, I was in one of the cells in the dungeon with Alpha Cameron looming over me.
"You want to defy me? Your Alpha? Maybe spending some time in the dungeon will fix that. Remember your place, Omega," He growled before slamming the metal door shut, causing me to flinch at the loud crashing sound.
"No food or water for that one," he ordered the guard.
"Understood, Alpha." The guard replied.
I dragged my battered body to the corner of the cell and curled up in the fetal position. My entire body shivered violently from the cold, and every inch of me hurt. I could feel warm blood running out of my nose and mouth, but I still sighed in relief. I didn't care how much pain I was in because I did what I needed to.
Tatiana was proud. She might have been close to taking over, but she knew I wasn't weak. She always gave me the chance to get us out of these messes on my own before she forced the shift, hence why I had been able to keep her hidden all this time.
How long would he keep me down here for this time?
I was only around a hundred pounds and pretty malnourished. I doubted I could survive for long without food or water. Some days, I wished for death to take me. That way, I wouldn't have to suffer anymore. It would be like taking a permanent vacation.
I must have dozed off at some point because ice-cold water engulfed my body, jolting me awake. I gasped and sputtered as I abruptly sat.
"Let's go, the Alpha wants to speak with you." The guard announced, holding a now empty bucket in his hand.
I stood from the ground and tried to control my trembling body. I was already frozen; the ice-cold water did nothing but add to my misery.
Luckily for my werewolf healing, my battered body was already on the mend.
I said nothing as I followed the guard out of the cell and toward the Alpha's office.
I noticed through the window that it was a new day. I must have passed out longer than I thought. It looked to be late afternoon by the position of the sun.
We stood before the Alpha's office, and the guard knocked.
"Come in," Alpha Cameron announced before the guard opened the door.
The Alpha was sitting behind his desk, and when the door opened, he lifted his eyes to me.
I tried to stop my body from trembling, but I couldn't. I was too damn cold. Alpha Cameron noticed, and a satisfied smirk appeared on his face.
"Leave us," Alpha Cameron ordered, never taking his eyes off me.
"Yes, Alpha," The guard replied nervously, quickly leaving the room.
"Come in and close the door," Alpha Cameron commanded, his voice calm, leaving an uneasy feeling in my stomach. He was never calm.
I entered the room and closed the door behind me. Tatiana was already on high alert since we only spent a night in the dungeon. Something wasn't right.
"Tomorrow is your birthday. I've decided to give you your present early. You'll no longer be working in the kitchen," Alpha Cameron said, pausing to see my reaction.
I knew there was more, so I said nothing and waited, dread settling in my gut. I knew whatever he would say next would be bad.
"Starting tomorrow, you'll report to my office first thing in the morning. You've been promoted to my personal slave. Toy. w***e. Whatever you want to call yourself. From now on, I'll use and abuse you however I see fit, and there's nothing you can do about it," He said with a sinister look in his eyes.
I said nothing as I stood there frozen in shock.
Why did he continue to torment me? Was the moon goddess punishing me for something? What had I done to deserve this?
I was brought out of my thoughts when he spoke again.
"You will no longer be living with your w***e of a mother. Pack your trash and bring it back here with you in the morning. I'm assigning you a new room closer to mine so you can be readily available for whatever I need." He ordered with a mocking smirk on his face.
"Yes, Alpha," I replied, my voice shaky as I bowed my head.
"Now go shower. I can smell your stench from here," he spat, looking disgusted.
I quickly left the room and ran for the front doors. I sighed in relief when I was finally out of the packhouse.
Tatiana was pacing in my head. She hated it when we acted weak and submissive. The only reason we did it was to appease my mother. We both loved her so much that we tried not to upset her. I was her only family, and it would destroy her if something happened to me.
I got to my house and opened the door before walking inside.
"Oh my goddess, you're alive!" My mother exclaimed, running toward me and wrapping me in a tight embrace.
I hissed when she squeezed me a little too tight. I healed fast, thanks to my wolf, but because of my malnutrition, it wasn't as quickly as it should have been.
My mother pulled away, looking at me with concern in her eyes.
"Yes, Mom, I'm alive. For now..." I said with a sigh.
When she frowned, I continued, "But we need to leave immediately. Alpha Cameron's not done with me. He's making me his slave, and I won't stick around for that."
A shocked expression crossed my mother's face before she asked, "Chloe, we have nowhere to go. What will we do?"
"Mom, he tried to rape me. He's getting more aggressive, and it's only a matter of time before Tatiana reveals herself. We stand a better chance at surviving if we go rogue than staying here. Please trust me. Both Tatiana and I agree. If we want to stay alive, our only option is to run far away from here," I pleaded while holding her hands in mine.
She let out a shaky breath and remained silent for a few minutes before finally replying, "Okay, let's leave in the middle of the night when everyone's asleep."
I didn't want to tell her that Alpha Cameron tried to rape me, but I knew it was what she needed to hear for her to agree to leave this place finally.
"Oh my goddess, thanks, mom. I swear, we will be so much happier," I said excitedly. We could finally start fresh and live a normal life.
"I have an old friend at the Black Hawk Pack. Maybe he'll be willing to help us," she said nervously.
Her words took me by surprise. How does she know anyone from that pack? And why was she so nervous talking about it?
"Who?" I asked curiously.
"Just a friend. It's not important," she replied in the same nervous tone, refusing to look me in the eyes. I decided to let it go for now. After all, we had a lot to do before we left.
"I'll go and start packing," I said, and she nodded.
I didn't miss her relieved breath she let out when I didn't push for information.
I went to my room and packed. Since I didn't own much, it didn't take long, and it all fit into a small backpack.
