Tatiana I had been irritated when I returned to Betty and Tom's cabin and found my mate there with some of his men. Why couldn't he just leave me alone? Or better yet, reject me. I had to admit, though, he was putting in the effort. He brought a picture of himself, for crying out loud. Who did that? I internally chuckled when I saw it. As much as I wanted to hate the guy, he was making it hard sometimes. He even brought me dinner. My mouth was salivating at the sight of the steak, but I didn't trust that he hadn't poisoned it. Plus, I was fully capable of hunting for my own food. The last thing I wanted was for him to think I needed him to provide for me. He also brought me his comforter and left it on the porch for me to sleep on. It smelt absolutely divine, covered in his scent. I r
