When I first laid eyes on Chloe, my breath caught in my throat. She looked so familiar, but I couldn’t figure out why and I felt a strange pull toward her, that I didn’t understand. I swear she looked so much like me that she could have passed as my daughter. I knew she wasn’t though, since I’ve been with my mate for over 25 years and I’ve never cheated on her.
I was so mesmerized by Chloe, that I didn’t realize I had been staring until Alpha Knox cleared his throat and pulled me out of my trance. I couldn’t stop glancing over at her throughout lunch. Everyone else was chatting away, but the only thing on my mind was this young mysterious woman sitting across from me.
