Chapter Forty-Eight She was wearing the same thing that she had worn on our date and I felt a pang of longing to see her in one of mine or Jay’s shirts. I wanted her to be wrapped up in our scent. Her feet were bare and I took my time tracing the curves of her body as she looked up at Jay. I didn’t know what they were talking about, but I knew it must be something interesting to them from the way that he was looking down at her. A soft smile played at the edges of his lips. His damp hair was pulled into a loose ponytail and I could tell that he was just enjoying being near her. It made my heart beat faster to watch the way he was looking at her. How his eyes sparkled as he lifted his hand up to touch her cheek. I leaned against the doorframe watching both of them, her cheeks flushed
