CHAPTER 2
Massimo broke the ice by asking us how we were enjoying our trip to the city. That was the beginning of a long, humorous, and enlightening conversation.
He also shared some information about himself and his ambitions to become a famous model or actor. He had moved from Italy only a few years earlier and was happy with what he had achieved so far.
We split another bottle of wine over dinner and even stayed for dessert and coffee. When the last drops were gone, we procrastinated. We didn't want to let Massimo go and it seemed he didn't want the night to end either. Massimo footed the tab with a smile before preparing for his exit.
Quinn then made a surprising but welcomed proposition. “Massimo, would you like to join us upstairs to continue the evening?”
