Cathy Lambert is a 19-year-old college student who needs to spend a week in Manhattan to interview for some internships.
She's hoping to get one so she doesn't have to go back to community college in the rural town she's from. One of her parents' best friends from college lives in Manhattan and offers him a guest room. Cathy used to be close to him when she was little, but she hasn't seen him in several years.
Matt Dunbar is fit and handsome, freshly divorced, and excited to have her visiting for a week. She's instantly attracted to him, and it's obvious he finds her attractive, but they both seem to resist because he's a family friend.
