The continent of Lush covered hundreds and hundreds of miles: from the Southern Martial Sect to the Evergreen Forest that lay right in the midst to the Holy Sages Academy directly found in the north. This continent was governed by the Top 10 Institutions in which each major institution had a region in which they can exert their control and influence easily. The more famous ones and the most obvious ones where the 3 Cathedrals, The Cathedral of Light , the Cathedral of Blue and the Divine Cathedral which each possessed a region most far from each other though in context they are said to be from the same source. Then there were the 2 sects, The World of Ice Sect and the Tabernacle of Flames in which both were north western of the continent each with its own region divided by the Twin Mountains. One full of ice which the world of Ice sect established itself; while the other broken mountain which was seemingly active was where the Tabernacle of flames established themselves as well. And there other sects and institutions like the Southern Martial sect, South-eastern Astral Clocktowers to The Famous Holy Sages Academy placed in the Northern eastern of the continent. But in the heart of it laid the Evergreen forest, widely spread placing itself directly at the heart of all the Sects and Academies. But beside the Institutions, each region had its bloodline of nobility which were further connected to their ruling sects. A good example was the Cathedral of light which had 3 great noble families connected to it, which were The Celeste Family, the Lumiere Family and the Litcht Family. This also called up the girl that Lukas met yesterday on his way back from the forest. Celene from the House of Celeste and it probably should have been obvious that they were such big shots but his nonchalant attitude and his non awareness was what irked that bodyguard. Sighing to himself he continued reading and then learned the power structure of how each region worked. From the a Major institution, following a great noble family , followed by a noble families and then commoners. His Raydore family was just one of the many noble families, once hailed as the 4th Great Family to the Cathedral of light though at the moment fallen since his father's death way back into the past years. In fact even if he can be counted to be noble almost no one would give him the needed respect since they barely had power and his elemental talent was discovered to be worse off than his sister's. Which in this cutthroat world, it can only mean trouble in more ways one. Shaking his head, he collected himself and then looked around. He was in one of the many plain tables housing the first level of the Hall of Insight. The 2nd level can only be accessed by the Late Mortal mages intending to breakthrough to higher stages and then enter the inner sect which one can only have a chance if they can attain the Earth rank and then win one of the 30 slots in the two year end of competition. Taking 2 books, one titled the Basis of all Magic and their Elements while the 2nd book was titled The Devastating Spells of Solaris the 3rd Volume 1. One was a basic book containing all of the available knowledge of what kind of elements mages can awaken to from the commons ones to the higher advanced forms. And the next book said to be the book with the hardest spells to master was a book Lukas intended to have a crash course with, in seeing how much he can learn though he will probably have to wait until he mastered all of his present spells first. Later that evening Lukas sat beside his table and then stared at the 4 books that are in his possession. The previous host Book of spells, book of Sigils and all of their basic spells, The Solaris Spell book and the book about the Foundational Knowledge of All Elements and how they interact. Each book served a specific purpose in trying to increase his overall strength. His book of spells had a meager amount of spells that the previous owner had learned and though he knew he had the knowledge directly imprinted in his brain, he had to relearn and familiarize with them and in the process, master and optimize them so they could be more powerful and have a more impact now that he was a mid mortal mage. The book of Sigils, gifted to him by his sister proved to be more than useful when Lukas had perused through it. Containing mostly formidable auxiliary and defensive spells, it was a book meant to increase his self defense and his survivability up a full notch. And as an added bonus the sigils extrapolated inside the books had an element of utility to it and hence he could prove more than useful in team based quests in ways the previous host's could never have imagined. The Solaris spell book were famed for its hard and almost impossible to master spells since Solaris the 3rd according to history aimed to walk his own path and prove that Elemental Light can possess the Path of Destruction just like many of its counterparts. With near madness and unimaginable ambition, he achieved what he set to do though at a very heavy price. His path in end was frowned upon by The Cathedral of Light under the context that Priests were meant to defend and heal not to cause even more destruction. He was disowned by his own House of Litcht where he was born though ironically the cathedral deemed it fit for his 1st Volume of Spells to be published inside its walls. Though Lukas was curious on what really went on in the background if a said disgraced mage still had his volume spread and learnt; in the end his spells proved beyond difficult to master and over time most priests only bothered learning one or two destructive spells meant for self protection. Lukas had the same idea in mind seeing that he barely had any offensive spells in his repertoire full of defensive and auxiliary spells. The next book was to increase his knowledge of all the elements mages can awaken to; even including some of recorded elements deemed to be too obscure and abnormal. Knowing how his elemental light would interact with other awakened elements would help in knowing exactly where he would be naturally weak and where would his strengths lay and also create some counter measures as long as he has an idea of how the element behaved. Though by looking at the size of the book, he would take while to read it and even a longer while to be able to display the knowledge on the field. The last thing on his mind was the physical halls which gave him a sizable trouble and pressure. Apparently Most able light mages never bothered training their bodies and they look down upon the rest of the disciples who do so especially all of the paladins and Magick archers. They deemed such path uncouth and with this kind of rancor existing, suffice to say he was quite heckled by the present paladins when he asked to enroll in. But much to their dismay there was no rule that prohibited mages from training in the physical halls especially when they were freely available to anyone and so Lukas ended getting what he wanted in the end. And now, now was the moment when the Training officially started.
