Chapter Fourteen Monday at the museum was a delightful day. There werenew paintingsones I particularly liked being arranged for a new showing. Allthe Nick Ritter sculptures had been shipped off the week before, back to wherethey belonged in his Paris gallery. I couldnt have been happier. What replacedhis work was an exhibition of pastels, summery watercolor prints I loved. If I werentin the position with Geoff I was now, I would have begged him to buy me one,and he probably would have. Figuring that wasnt possible, I spent as much timeas I could helping the gallery designers get the show ready for the opening thefollowing Friday.
