Chapter 13 Four veiled shadows crept as elves over the hills surrounding the boma. This time the riders, who had come with a very light load, dismounted from their horses just five hundred steps from the confines of the village. The hooves were clad in pieces of cloth to muffle their sounds on the ground. The figures headed swiftly toward the two guards dozing around a campfire, numbed by the cold of the night.
