Chapter 9“I’m scared,” Theo said as he and Ric walked to the lot where they’d left their cars. “I shouldn’t admit it, but I am.” “There’s nothing wrong with being afraid,” Ric replied. “Any smart person would be when they know someone wants to hurt them.” He stopped, turned, and put his hands on Theo’s shoulders. “We’re going to make it through this.
