ASHER . SHIT! I cussed loudly when the blaring eyes of the large, lizard-shaped reptile with four, short legs and a long, muscular tail stalked towards us. Amery screamed out in fear and clung onto me tightly. Her thinly parted lips quivered in fright as she shivered vigorously. The heat that emanated from her body messed up my senses to the point of driving me wild. "Asher!" Amery lets out an ear splitting scream, jolting me from my wild imagination to focus at the situation at hand. Lifting her up like she weighed nothing, I pulled her out and bolted away from the water as we took off in a deep sprint. "It's right behind us, Asher."
