Vic arrived a moment after the others and saw what caused them to stop moving. The pile of fresh monster bodies indicated that there was likely another predator inside of the building that was far stronger than these monsters. If they were to fight with such a creature, they’d all be wiped out because just killing the previous group of monsters was already their limit. Vic was also not in good shape right now since he kept on using his ability. His arms had grown numb so if he used it again, he’d probably faint right after.
