CHAPTER 61: Proposal
She stared down at her food wearily, this wasn't supposed to be a cozy meeting, and never did she expect to see Kyle.
"You're not eating?" Her uncle asked while cutting through the meat on his plate.
"No, I'm fine. This isn't supposed to be like this. You've not answered most of my questions." she declined harshly. She could feel Kyle's eyes on her face.
"Kyle, can you tell her how this works?" Her uncle said paying attention to his food instead.
"He doesn't like speaking to guests on an empty stomach, after eating you'll get all you want, for now, we eat." Kyle clearly explained reaching for his glass.
"Besides, Antonio won't be happy that you rejected his hard-made meal. He takes pride in seeing people eat what he has created." Her uncle added.
