Her reflection in the mirror wearing a black halter dress stared back, with the excitement bubbling behind her from her friends.
She ignored them who were gushing over how pretty they looked in the various outfits they wore.
Her parents had allowed her spend the weekend in one of the girls house, which was an excuse for them to attend the party at school, since her parents were away for the weekend and the cool elder sister, Laura, didn’t mind the girls going out that night.
Esme wanted to take the dress off. According to Nancy and the rest, they agreed that it suited her best but she wasn’t comfortable in the mid-length dress.
