CHAPTER 49: Alliances
Kyle watched Jasper pace across the study with his hands held behind his back. His nervousness was beginning to tick him off.
"You can't just leave her there! She's going to kill her." Jasper bellowed at Him.
"No she's not," he replied stubbornly reading the documents in his hands.
"You underrate Lilah too much."
"That's because I know her that well, Jasper. If you'll excuse me I have to finish up this work," he said politely.
Jasper trudged towards his desk in anger, grabbing of his shirt in both of his hands. His nostrils flared in anger as he stared at him in anger.
"Because you've had something with her in the past doesn't mean that you know what's she capable of."
"And you do?"
"I get that she meant so much to you in your other life as a-" Kyle crumple
