"What in the world is that?" Liam chuckled snapping out of his trance. He stared down at Esme's scaly face tucked away in his chest.
His eyes moved to Kyle who nodded slowly.
"Is this it?" he mouthed at him. Before he could answer Esme had grabbed his hands pulling him towards the stairs.
"Where are you taking him?" Kyle asked blocking their path.
"Upstairs."
"I can clearly see that, Why?"
"Okay, let's calm down and address this in a better way." Liam started earning both their attention.
"What is the matter?"
"She's sprouting scales on her neck."
