"You look happy today . Did something good happen?" Damien asked, immediately after he had entered my room and I could barely contain the glee in my voice.
" I have a date with Cedric today," I replied. Damien's eyes widened with surprise, but he quickly regained his composure.
"That's great news! I hope you have an amazing time," he said genuinely, masking any hint of disappointment. It was evident that he genuinely cared about my happiness.
