I had been in a foul mood all week leading up to the trip to Celestria. The thought of the unwanted sibling who was going to follow me made me angry. Both Damien and Emma had been walking on eggshells around me, and I could tell Emma was happy to be rid of me.
On the day of our departure, Damien, Selina, and I were driven to the airport and boarded my private jet. Selina seemed to be buddying up with Damien as they spent most of the flight laughing and commenting on different things, while I was left as the outsider.
Damien had no idea about our dislike for each other, so expecting him to only keep me company felt wrong.
