Nuru's POV I could barely sleep that night after the dinner with Cedric. I turned and twisted, the scene with Cedric replaying in my mind. I could not stay in the palace and act like all was okay. In the morning, I had already decided what I needed to do. Despite Cedric’s attempt to apologize, I still felt really hurt about what he had said. Whether he was drunk or not, somewhere in his mind he had those awful thoughts about me. As the car pulled up to the hotel, my heart was still racing from the emotional turmoil back at the castle.
