Arion
Spending a couple of hours with Charlie, without her trying to kill me is all new to me.
I enjoyed that we were able to walk the streets of Paris like were friends, or more than friends. A sudden surge of courage in me had me grab her hand and hold into it. I love the feeling of he tingles in it.
A couple of hours later, we were standing over a bridge.
"Are you sure Percy won't mind that we were away for a couple of hours?" I asked.
"He doesn't need to know. " she said and then she wrapped her arm around my waist.
She teleported us back on the same room I pulled her in. Then I felt a different tingling sensation. I looked at her and saw her that she is intently looking at me.
"No one knew we were gone" she said.
I was confused at the moment before I realized what she meant.
"You turned back the time. " I said still a bit shocked.
"Yes. It was my gift as a vampire, while Chris is a powerful telepath. "
"I know. Such a nosy telepath. " I said with a groan.
She giggled.
"I have to go. You left a lot of paper works. " she said.
Then her eyes glowed bright blue instead of violet. And it felt like I was hypnotized. I leaned towards her. I thought she'll push me, but instead she snaked her arms around my neck, and pulled me in. Our lips met and it moved in synchronization.
She pulled away and I placed my forehead into her.
"Be careful. " I said and she vanished.
I touched my lips. I may have kissed so may ladies to last me a lifetime, but I never kissed anyone like her. Her lips were so sweet and addictive. It made me wants to kiss her more, and ravish her.
What is happening to me? Am I really falling for her?
Chris
I called Arion and Percy in my office to talk to them.
"What's up?" Arion asked.
I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned on my desk.
"I'm quite bothered with what Charlie said. I'm sure Damon will be sending someone to look for you in the Caribbean, to confirm if you really are alive. " I said.
"So, what are we going to do? We're going to Caribbean?" Arion asked.
I shook my head.
"I already sent a decoy there that will pose as you. The story of you having a little vacation to heal and soul searching has been covered. " I told them.
"Wow. That's great. "
"I also think we should upgrade your training. A bit rougher with more sparring partners. " I added.
"I don't get it. " Arion said looking a little clueless.
I sighed and looked at Percy.
"I think it’s time to move our training camp to Australia. "
Percy looked like he already understood what I meant.
"Please inform Keagan. " I told Percy and he nodded.
Then he disappeared. I'm impressed in how Percy managed to use the teleportation charm Charlie gave him. And it comes in handy.
"I don't get it. " Arion said.
I sighed.
"We'll be transferring to Australia. In our allied pack territory.
Arion c****d his head to the side.
"You'll be training with wolves" I told him.
He blinked twice before he stood up and begun pacing around. Then he stopped and glared at me.
"Are you f*****g kidding me?!"
"No. Wolves can help you improve your fighting stance, coordination and agility. And besides, why are you complaining now? You have no problem with Percy before. "
He furrows his eyebrows.
"I told you before; Percy is a hybrid like us, but a bit different. He's a vampire werewolf hybrid. He's also an elder in the pack were transferring to. The alpha is a good guy. He'll be helping us. " I told him.
He managed to calm down a bit.
"You were with my sister for a couple of hours. I hope the two of you didn't try to rip each other's throats. " I said
He looked way, not meeting my gaze.
"What are you talking about?"
"Don't deny it. I know she used her gift to turn back time. I always have this crazy craving for hot chocolate whenever she used that gift. " I said and then glanced at the several cups on my desk.
"We just had coffee, and a few exchange of words. Nothing fancy. " he said, still not meeting my gaze.
I hummed while I nodded.
"Percy had been in love with my sister for a long time. I know he won't give her up just like that. Unless he finds his mate. So be careful around them." I told him.
"Mate? What's a mate?" He asked looking at me.
"Mate. Short for soul mate. Your other half. All creatures has their other halves. Werewolves have their mates and vampires called theirs beloved. " I explained.
"How did you find your mate?" He asked.
"Fate will lead you to one another. "
"How would you know if she's the one ?" He asked again.
I smirked at him.
"You would feel it. " I answered and left him to think what I said.
Percy
The moment Chris told us about that were transferring to Australia, I understood what he meant.
So I teleported back to Australia, to my governing pack. Mountain Ridge Pack, where I am the elder. Why would I say that I'm an elder? Because I am actually 890 years old. Perks of a hybrid wolf.
Alpha Keagan is actually my great great great great grandnephew. And he also has this massive crush on my girlfriend Charlie. He thinks that she is his mate. But we all know that she isn't since he didn't found out when he shifted. She is not his mate as she is not mine too. But either way, I love her.
When I arrived at the pack house, I went straight into the alpha's office. Keagan was surprised to see me standing in front of his desk.
"Jesus Christ! Uncle don’t scare me like that ever again. " he groaned.
I rolled my eyes.
"Wuss." I mumbled.
"I thought you're in a vacation? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Chris asked me to have your permission to let Charlie's fledging to train here with our warriors. " I told him.
He c****d his head.
"Charlie has a fledgling?"
"Yeah. It’s the Brimstone descendant. " I told him.
He hummed and nodded.
"Very well. Anything for our sweet Charlotte. " he said looking a bit excited.
I hissed at him. He raised his hand for surrender.
"Geesh. You know I like her a lot. Besides we both know she is not our mate. So don't go ape on me for having a little crush on your girlfriend. " he said in defense.
"Whatever. I better go. I'll tell Christopher you agreed. " I said and left.
