Amanda’s POV After everyone had decided on Mexican for lunch, Mark directed me to a great place he knew that was close by. After ordering, though, we were for the most part silent. Nobody really wanted to discuss the elephant in the room. Even after the food came. “Look, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not sure if I even feel safe here anymore,” Lindsey finally broached the subject, her plate of seafood enchiladas barely touched. “I’m half tempted to just go home at this point, before anything else bad can happen!” Derrick grabs Lindsey’s hand and gives it a kiss.
