Mark’s POV
No matter what else happens, I need to keep Amanda and the baby safe from harm. And I can’t tell Amanda about all the near misses we’ve had recently! I want my wife to remain calm. Serene. Trouble free.
I have hired more security for Harrogate Towers. I have security guards around the clock watching to see who comes and goes at all hours of the day, and I’m paying for it out of pocket for now. Once Amanda and I move out, it will most likely be scaled back considerably by whomever the new owner of Shipton Investments is. Which is yet to be decided. I plan to bring up the idea to mother at our monthly dinner tonight.
