Mark’s POV
There was a group of kids along with a mom waiting by the gate to get in just as soon as the pool was supposed to open at 10. It was 9:58 am right now.
“Sorry, folks, the pool is going to be closed for maintenance for the next few days!” I tell them as I walk up. “The pool isn’t safe right now.”
A whole bunch of whining ensued from the children, and angry words from the mom.
“This is unacceptable!” The mom, one of our newer tenants I hadn’t met yet, almost screeched at me. “The pool looks perfectly fine to me. We moved here last month so the boys would be able to swim all summer! I’m going straight down to talk with the building manager right now!”
